There is one other good way to build free traffic and that is to use article distribution directories.

Write a good article and include your site link in the Author Bio box at the end then people will click on your link if the article is interesting enough.

I use this method in addition to the tools I use but the main reason I do it is not to get traffic but to get the very valuable one way link back to my site (although ezinearticles is quite good for some traffic).
